Do you want a teaching role in London that offers you an amazing experience, where you can develop your career, experience life in London and make some great friends?
Making the move over to the UK and finding the right role is a big deal – this is where we come in. Over the past 12 years we have helped thousands of people to re-locate to London from all over the world.
We have a specialist team of international advisors who work with overseas trained teachers to explore opportunities to teach in London. Their role is to work in an advisory capacity to ensure everyone is fully supported. This starts at the relocation process, from meeting you and discussing what you’re looking for, to help with visa requirements and documents. But that’s only a small part of what we do…
We’re so passionate about the difference international teachers can make in schools that we have invested in properties all over London. We understand that moving overseas can be daunting, that’s why we take all the hassle away and make your experience in London, as rewarding as possible.
This starts when we meet you at the airport and bring you to your new home in London. All Vision housing is outstanding accommodation at affordable prices. These are exclusively available as rented accommodation for our international teachers.
So not only can you share your experiences with other international teachers on the same journey as you, but you have a full support network from everyone at Vision, from socials, to training to help and advice. Once you are settled, our specialist international advisors work as internal liaisons with our consultants and settle you into school life.
So far, we’ve helped over 1,500 international candidates successfully find their ideal roles in London!
We even have three permanently employed international teachers on our team, who provide expert care and attention to support and help our international candidates succeed in the UK.
We provide a full support programme from registering to placement, from help preparing your CV, to interview tips, advice on Skype interviews, relocation help, and we’ll even pick you up from the airport!
We then carefully support you through your placement, keeping in contact on a weekly basis, visiting you at school, providing training and social events to give you the best start to your new life and career in London.
We can also provide you with a guaranteed pay contract, so you’ll have the consistency of regular pay, even if you choose not to take on a longer-term role.
We provide CPD and support to help you improve educational impact in schools and continue professional development through activities and training sessions such as safeguarding, behaviour management, Team Teach, phonics, literacy and numeracy, etc.
We’ll invite you to regular social events throughout the year and offer support sessions where you can come and meet us, either for a chat or for specific support in your role. Our social events include breakfast learning, quiz evenings, evening socials, travel events and organised trips.
Lastly, we offer a generous benefits package, social events and training throughout the year with the wider team, allowing us to build and maintain excellent relationships with our international teachers.
We know relocating can be expensive, so that’s why receiving your incentive is simple. You will get £250 after your first term working with us, £250 after your second term, and £500 after your third term!
We offer a full-time teaching contract in London that gives you an amazing experience and you’ll still develop your career!
We provide GPS contracts for both supply and long-term roles for international trained teachers - all you need to decide is the type of work in schools that’s right for you and we will do the rest!
Longer term roles "Would you enjoy a full-time role, being a valued part of a school’s community, with a focus on developing your career?"
If the answer is yes, we would work with you to ensure we find you your ideal role in the right school.
Day to day supply? "Would you love to work in different contexts, experience the unique culture of London, and exposure yourself to a variety of schools and children?"
Supply might be the best fit for you. It would allow you to gain experience in different schools, and after you’ve built up your curriculum knowledge and worked out the types of schools you wish to work in, you can always explore a long-term role.
"The first person I spoke to was Abbi, who came across as professional, informative and willing to educate me about the ins and outs of the process (also a genuinely lovely person). I then set a date for my arrival and Abbi told me everything I needed to do, making the process super easy and very clear for me. Upon arrival to London, I was kindly picked up by Marianne, who dropped us to our door. The schools and classrooms I have worked in to date have been filled with such lovely children and teachers. It has been a pleasure working with Vision so far, very happy to recommend them to any teacher looking for work. My move to London could not possibly have run any smoother. Vision truly went the extra mile for me". Bella, Australian teacher, 2019
