        Location: Waltham Forest

        Salary: £199 - £220 Per Day Dependent on experience

        Contract Type: Temporary / Full Time

        **Role: Year 1 Teacher – MAT cover**

        Are you a passionate KS1 Teacher seeking a long-term role for the summer term – April 2024 start?

         

        We have an exciting opportunity that is waiting for you in Waltham Forest. One of my schools in the heart of Leyton – located just 10 minutes away from Leyton Underground Station, is looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start in the summer term (April). The school is a one-form entry school rated “Good” by Ofsted, who cater for all pupils including those with special educational needs –  ensuring that all pupils are provided with the best education possible to make good progress in their learning.

        The role:

        • Must have QTS or PGCE
        • Must have experience teaching Year 1 class
        • You must be available 5 days a week as this is a full-time role until July 2024
        • You will be able to work with a variety of different ability pupils ranging across all sets
        • Responsibility for being given a form class
        • Salary dependent on current pay scale and experience

         

        Requirements

        • You will have the Right to Work in the UK
        • You must hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
        • Be a positive role model with the ability to support staff
        • Be committed to promoting and enhancing a good understanding of the school
        • You must have experience working within a Primary school – specifically working in KS1
        • You will be able to provide two professional references.
        • You will need to complete Safeguarding and Prevent training
