Vision Teaching are looking for patient, caring and nurturing teaching assistants who are confident working with children who need support catching up on class work and keeping on track.
We are looking for booster teaching assistants to work with a school in SW London in the borough of Lambeth.
The work will involve some 1:1 and small group work and there may be students with mild learning difficulties.
The following experience and skills really help you excel in these types of roles but are not a requirement;
-Behaviour management skills
-Have experience working with ASD and behaviour
-Be able to communicate with non-verbal children
– Confident setting boundaries and maintaining safe work spaces
-Nannies, coaches, camp councillors, youth workers
-Working with EAL pupils
-Experience with ASD, SpLD or Dyslexia and/or any other learning difficulties
-SATS and exam booster experience
-One-to-one or small group tuition experience
Positions are currently available and include Part/Full time TA roles; term time only and can run from Half a term up to the whole academic year. These roles would base you at one school so you have the consistency of working with the same children and colleagues.
