You will be providing additional support in and out of the classroom, working alongside another very experienced teaching assistant and supported by an amazing leadership team. The pupil is very active and strong so being flexible in your approach and being nimble on your feet are essential in this role, he does not exhibit challenging behaviours and is very sociable and focuses really well on activities he enjoys, but can run off if not supervised.
This role is full time 8.30am till 3.30pm, 5 days a week.
In this role you will have to liaise with parents, case workers and your colleagues to ensure you are providing the very best support possible. You will be required to complete logs ensuring all information is up to date and being tracked appropriately, this is essential in this role.
The pupil may not be in school for the full duration of the hours and in this time you will be required to plan for future sessions and may be required to help out as an additional in the school. A lot of the pupil’s out of classroom activities are arts and music based so experience with this is preferred.
