Vision Teaching are working with a couple of mainstream primary schools in Merton, who is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work in their Early Years department. The role is 5 days per week, Mon – Fri. There is an immediate start available for the right TA or just as soon as possible

The role would be supporting the Nursery and Reception class Teachers and will be responsible for prepping pupils work, running interventions and 1-1 booster sessions and supporting the pupil’s wellbeing. Some pupils require personal care so it essential that you are comfortable with this. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have previous experience working with children aged 2yrs – 5yrs and have knowledge of the Early Years curriculum

The Role:

• Full time, Monday – Friday
• Hours approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Early Years Teaching Assistant
• £65 – £85 per day (depending on experience)
• Merton

Responsibilities:

• Providing support within the classroom wherever required
• Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
• Ensuring children are engaged
• Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
• Helping with behaviour management of children
• Creating displays of children’s work
