Vision Teaching are working with a mainstream primary school in Wandsworth, who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work in their Early Years department. The role is 5 days per week, Mon – Fri. There is an immediate start available for the right TA or just as soon as possible

The role would be supporting the Reception class Teacher, and working 1-1 with a pupil with autism and non verbal speech difficulties within the class. You will be responsible for prepping pupils work, running interventions and 1-1 booster sessions and supporting the pupil’s wellbeing. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have previous experience working with children aged 2yrs – 5yrs and have knowledge of the Early Years curriculum

The Role:

• Full time, Monday – Friday
• Hours approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Early Years Teaching Assistant
• £10 – £11 per hour
• Wandsworth

Responsibilities:

• Providing support within the classroom wherever required
• Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
• Ensuring children are engaged
• Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
• Helping with behaviour management of children
• Creating displays of children’s work
