HLTA – Primary School – Bexley – Febuary/March start date
Vision Teaching are currently looking for an enthusiastic HLTA to work on a full time basis at a fantastic primary school in Bexley. This is a 3 form entry school that offers brand new facilities and a welcoming and supportive team.The school offer a vibrant, creative workplace and are committed to consistently improving outcomes for all. The school is a teaching training provider so if becoming a teacher is something you would like to peruse then this school can support you with that.
HLTA job role will include:
- Working with small groups of higher and lower ability pupils.
- Providing intervention support
- Covering Class Teacher PPA and sickness
The successful candidate would cover staff absence, teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time, and management time for subject leaders. You will need to be able to work across key stages, and the ability to cover in all year groups is required. Some planning time would be provided as part of this role. Previous experience in the HLTA role and any intervention training and/or experience would be beneficial. A specialism in a subject area could also be an advantage.
