Year 5 Teacher
A primary school in Morden have contacted Vision Teaching in order to supply a temporary full-time teacher to work 5 days a week from Tuesday 19th April until the end of the academic year. This role is a great opportunity for any experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is looking for their next full time teaching role. The Head Teacher is looking for a committed practitioner who can work collectively with the rest of the staff in school. You must have a track record of raising attainment in Key Stage 2.
The pupils at the school are known for their good behaviour, as well as their passion to learn. The lessons are always well organised and cater to all of the pupils individual needs. The class is set up of 28 children, the majority of the children are working at age related expectation in core subjects. Within the class you would have a full-time teaching assistant working alongside you.
The main teaching target would be to prepare the children and to raise their attainment leading up towards their transition into secondary school. You will need to have good curriculum knowledge and be able to deliver high quality lessons.
In order to be considered for this role you must hold the following as a necessity:
– QTS in Primary Education
– Experience in working with children in a Primary setting
– Experience teaching Key Stage 2
– Have at least two education based references from your most recent employer(s) which are ‘GOOD’ or ‘OUTSTANDING’
