A large 2 form entry primary school in Kingston is searching for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis to start in January. Vision Teaching has a long standing relationship with this school and I need a dedicated practitioner to join them.
The school has stated that they are looking for an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to work across both year 1 and 2 classes leading phonics intervention groups. The right candidate for the role must have previous experience with Phonics and working with intervention groups. The groups the school will be expecting the candidate to lead will be mixed abilities. Sometimes you will be leading small high ability groups of around 4-6 pupils and on other occasions you will be leading the lower ability pupils.
The Primary school graded “Goog” in their most recent Ofsted report in 2019 has excellent senior leadership and standards of teachers throughout the school. The candidate that is successful in starting the role will not be short of support and guidance from current members of staff in the school.
If you’re available for a full time role to start in January and you hit the criteria required then apply ASAP.
