KS2 Teacher, Year 3, Kingston, September 2022

A primary school in the area of Kingston Upon Thames are looking for an experienced Year 3 teacher to join their school from September 2022, this is a full time position that will be for the academic year.

This role will be starting September, the ideal candidate will need to be creative, enthusiastic and possess strong classroom management skills. You will be required to take on the full responsibility as the class teacher.

Teacher Specification for the role:

The perfect candidate for this position will be able to encourage imaginative learning amongst their students and show exemplary understanding of the KS2 curriculum, in particular Y3. This KS2 Teacher position would suit a capable and enthusiastic Y3/Y4 educator or an ECT who has spend their placements teaching in these year groups.

You will be required to:

• Promote good progress and raising attainment
• Set high expectations which inspire and motivate the children
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all children
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
