Learning Support Assistant, Richmond, full time

A school in Richmond is looking to appoint an SENTA on a full time basis starting ASAP. In order to be considered for this position, previous experience working with either children or young adults with SEN is essential. As an SENTA, the role will involve supporting children in lessons as well as providing support around the school. You’ll be working closely with the school SENCO, class teachers and SLT to ensure children who have additional needs are getting to where they need to get to.

The successful applicant will be expected to prepare resources that have been differentiated, offer behavioural support when required as well as being able to implement strategies to keep children engaged. Regular meetings within the SEN department will take place, where progression and development will be discussed on an individual level. You also be tasked with implementing school policies and ensuring all children abide by them.
