LSA, Kingston, Primary,Y2 class, ASAP start

I am working with a ‘Good’ school based in Kingston who are looking for a full time LSA to support a child in one of the schools Y2 classes, this is a full time role starting ASAP and will be initially till July 2022, if all goes well the role with continue into September 2022.

The role itself will be working with a Y2 child with ASD, the child has recently got their EHCP and everything is outlined in their plan. For this role you must have previous experience working with children with ASD, you must have excellent behaviour management skills, a proven track record of raising attainment, you must be confident in assessment writing and have the ability to work closely with SLT and class teachers.

The school is located just a short journey from Kingston town centre, there is excellent transport links to and from the school and they have parking on site for their staff. The Head has been at the school for a number of years, during their time at the school they have created an enriched curriculum that caters for all children at the school. In the schools Ofsted report senior leadership was highlighted as excellent and the school have a great team dynamic and cohesiveness.
