Nursery Teaching Assistant

Vision Teaching are working with a Primary School and Nursery in the Wandsworth area who are searching for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The nursery has several children with SEND, therefore someone with experience within this area is required. The role starts after the February half-term break and will be ongoing until the summer.

The ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:

• Hold a Level 2 TA qualification or higher
• Solid understanding of the Nursery curriculum
• Strong listening skills working 1-1 with select pupils
• Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service
• SEND experience is desired but not crucial – the school are willing to work with the right characteristics

The children in this school are eager to learn and just needs additional support to keep focused and engaged with learning. You will be required to help plan activities to keep the children motivated and encourage successful learning outcomes. You will also have access to great facilities and resources! The school itself have worked with Teaching Personnel for a number of years now, where our candidates who have worked within the school have always given fantastic feedback, especially with regards to the staff.
