PE Teacher

This well established special needs school are looking for an experienced, motivated, vibrant and flexible PE teacher to join them on a temp to perm basis.

The classroom sizes are reduced due to COVID and this school takes your safety very seriously so as long as you adhere to social guidelines and complete regular testing provided by the school you will be completely safe to carry out your duties as a PE teacher. Where experience is key to this role, this school are happy to take on someone who is not necessarily a qualified PE teacher but has the necessary experience to hit the ground running.

This role will be temp for the rest of the academic year and then all going well will be permanent from September.

Role details:

8.30am till 4pm working hours

Classes up to 6 pupils

Covering a range of sports from table tennis, hockey, football training, basketball, and access to the outdoor gym

Salary is negotiable

Working alongside the head of PE to deliver PSHE lessons

Ideal candidate:

DBS on the update service or willing to apply

Experience with SEND pupils teaching PE

Experience with secondary SEND pupils (preferred not essential)

Available now and interested in a permanent position
