The successful candidate will be an experienced Biology teacher with great subject knowledge.
Be a qualified teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B’ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS in Biology who can (and has experience of) teaching A Level Biology to both Year 12 and Year 13, BTEC level 3 Science (the Biology units) to both Year 12 and Year 13.
A practitioner who with experience teaching biology at KS5 level
You will be required to have experience of Sixth Form teaching and so are unlikely to be newly qualified some with a small amount of KS4 Science teaching experience.
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example. Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies. Hold a valid and current DBS on the update service.
