Primary Teaching Assistant (1:1) – Battersea
Details of the role: Year groups: KS2 (Year 4), Full-time, On-going on temporary basis January start (Mon-Fri, 8-30am -3-30pm)
Vision Teaching are in search of a teaching assistant to work on full-time basis as a 1-1 support for primary pupils in KS2. This role is to start on Monday 24th January on will be on an on-going basis for the foreseeable future.
Within this role, you would be working in the Year 4 class in the morning as a 1-1 support for a pupil with behavioural difficulties. Then in the afternoon, you will then work in the Year 5 class, supporting a pupil on a 1-1 basis with similar behaviour issues. The school have support plans in place for both pupils and are happy to provide further support and training for the desired candidate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with the appropriate age groups
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A positive and out-going attitude
- The ability to build a great rapport with both pupils and staff
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
