      Vision Teaching are working with an a fantastic three form entry school, Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING, based in Hayes. The staff are friendly and supportive, the school has lots of outdoor space and great facilities.

      Looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with special needs ASAP. The role will be one academic year initially.

      ** SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE – OUTSTANDING PRIMARY SCHOOL, HARROW**

      – 3 Form Entry Primary School,
      – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role – 1 academic year
      – OFSTED Outstanding
      – ASAP start
      – Pay up to £100 per day dependent on experience
      – Full time role

      About the school and role

      Looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with special needs ASAP. The role will be one academic year initially.

      You will be working in a fun, vibrant SEN class, specifically supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with ASD.

      About you


      * Experience working with children with ASD
      * Experience of working in partnership with children and families with diverse needs
      * Experience of working collaboratively with a range of professionals

      The role:

      · Attend to the child’s personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.

      · Supervise and support the child ensuring safety and access to learning.

      · Establish good relationships with the child, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.

      · Promote the inclusion and acceptance of the child.

      · Encourage the child to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.

      · Encourage the child to act independently as appropriate.

      · Liaise with the class teacher regarding the child’s IEP and targets

      · Clarify and explain instructions to the child.

      · Develop appropriate resources to support the child

      · Encourage constructive play in the playground

      · Be able to implement specialised programmes, for example Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language programmes.
