The school are looking for an individual who is able willing to commit to the student’s needs, a confident and passionate TA, that can make a positive impact. The role is working 1:1 with a student who has Autism
This a role is a great opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistants wanting to work in a supportive school and gain more experience with SEND. The role will allow you to become more familiar with the Autistic spectrum, develop different positive behaviour techniques and develop skills such as using music therapy.
The school are an individual who is able willing to commit to the student’s needs, a confident and passionate TA, that can make a positive impact. The role is working 1:1 with a student who has Autism and will need extra help in and out of the classroom. Good communication skills, reliability and empathy are all key skills that will be needed for this role.
The ideal candidate will have:
NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent OR experience in a primary school
A confident manner and will be able to adapt well to different situations
A genuine passion for working with children who have SEND
Available to commit for the whole academic year.
