Vision teaching are launching a massive tuition program and we need experienced SEND tutors to work across a range of boroughs both in school and off site. These SEND tuition roles can range from 15 hours to 25 hours per week and age ranges will vary from case to case. You do not have to be a qualified teacher to apply for this position but if you are not a qualified teacher you must have experience with tuition.
You will be working with SEND pupils with various needs from autism to SEMH, so previous SEND experience is essential to this role. This SEND tuition role is predominantly 1:1 but in some instances you may be supporting 1:2 or 1:3 depending on the students needs, every pupil will have different subjects they need assistance with but being able to cover the basic core subjects E.G math, science, and English is preferable in this role as most pupils will need assistance with this.
Ideal candidate:
- Previous SEND tuition experience
- Available for 15 hours minimum per week (during school hours)
- Experience with SEND
- Pro-active outlook to learning
- Flexible approach to learning
- Ability to teach multiple pupils
