Teaching Assistant

Vision Teaching are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across SW London. All positions available are long term supply role starting in September 2022 till July 2023, with the view of extending into September 2023. I am looking for passionate SEN teaching assistants who want to help and bring the best out of the children

As a Teaching Assistant you will support the pupils and provide valuable support with the curriculum. You’ll with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, supporting the needs of students with additional needs. Manage challenging behaviour in a calm and competent manner.

It is essential to have a positive and compassionate nature, strong communication skills and be able to build relationships quickly and effectively with both the children and staff. You must have the ability to assess and identify attainment gaps and weaknesses and relay this back to the class teachers and school SENCO. Creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for all children.

For the roles we have available we are preferably looking for candidates who have relevant qualifications and experience support children/young adults in school based environment.
