YEAR 5 TEACHER

A Primary school in Wimbledon is looking to hire an enthusiastic full time Year 5 Teacher. This role would require applicants to deliver a KS2 curriculum to a Year 5 class and they are looking for someone to start ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who is looking to join a friendly, supportive school.

Requirements for the role:

• A Primary PGCE or QTS qualification.
• A good understanding of the KS2 National curriculum, particularly English, Maths and Science.
• Be enthusiastic and positive
• Be resilient

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning lessons in advance to national curriculum standards.
• Managing classroom behaviour with a variety of behavioural management strategies.
• Encouraging students to learn and succeed in an enjoyable and safe environment.
