Vision Teaching has consistently maintained the REC's highest standards for vetting candidates. Our 'Audited Education' status, the gold standard in education recruitment, was confirmed in October 2016. Our procedures consider but are not limited to the guidance provided by: Department for Education (DfE), Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS), UK Visa & Immigration Service and the Conduct Regulations.
To provide the best candidates by implementing a thorough interview, compliance and vetting procedure.
Our vetting process has been refined over the past 10 years, taking guidance from key industry stakeholders. We have performed consistently in our external quality audits, and hold ourselves to the highest standards, always striving to be considered an industry leader. When one of our partner schools book a candidate they will be sent an extensive vetting checklist electronically. In addition our candidates will present with a Vision Teaching ID and an original copy of their DBS. To see an example of the vetting checklist that we send to our partner schools, click here.
Every candidate that completes our registration process has a face-to-face interview and must meet our professional standards. In the unlikely event that a candidate receives negative feedback, our internal processes ensure that issues are dealt with swiftly, fairly and effectively.
DBS and NTCL Prohibition checks are carried out annually. UK Visa and Immigration "Right to Work" is assessed on expiry.
