£30–£35 per hour | 1–1 Home-Based Teaching | English & Maths (GCSE)
We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Tutor/Teacher to work 1–1 with students who are currently on waitlists for specialist school placements or are at risk of exclusion. These learners have SEN and/or SEMH needs and require patient, tailored support to help them stay engaged in education.
Provide 2 hours of teaching daily: 1 hour of English and 1 hour of Maths per student.
Initially working with one student, with potential for your caseload to increase as new referrals come in.
Sessions take place in the student’s home with a parent/carer present.
Plan and deliver engaging, individualised learning to support progress and confidence.
You must be able to teach both English and Maths up to GCSE level.

Qualified teachers with SEN/SEND experience
Anyone who has worked as an Outreach Tutor/Teacher and is comfortable with 1–1, home-based learning
Professionals with outreach, alternative provision, or PRU experience
Individuals who are patient, adaptable, and confident supporting students with SEMH needs
Experience working with SEN/SEMH students
Able to teach GCSE English AND Maths
Strong behaviour-management and relationship-building skills
Reliable, consistent, and able to start ASAP
Comfortable delivering tuition in the student’s home
£30–£35 per hour (depending on experience)
