Compliance+ is designed to safeguard children and vulnerable adults and to benchmark recruitment firms against the best possible service and was developed following extensive consultation with relevant stakeholders. We have committed to a strict Code of Conduct that demands high levels of professional behaviour at all times from candidates and internal members of staff.
Our resource and compliance team follow stringent APSCo guidelines so that we continue to be a Compliance+ accredited recruitment company.

Our onboarding process
An initial pre-vet phone call with our experience Sales Consultants– This step helps our staff ascertain your suitability, skill set and experience when a CV is received.
Upon successfully pre-vetting, you will be shortlisted to attend a virtual interview via Zoom, with our friendly Resource Team. You will be required to submit all requested documentation via Vision Teaching’s secure portal prior to the Registration via Zoom. We will also ask you to complete the Registration Form prior to your Registration via Zoom; however, understand this is not always achievable. If there is a reason the Registration Form cannot be completed prior, the Resource Team will advise you to complete this in order for your registration to proceed to the next stage for clearance under Compliance Team.
A virtual interview
Our Resource Team will conduct a Registration via Zoom. They will take time to get to know you by assessing your curriculum and safeguarding knowledge, behaviour management experience and key career achievements to date. We always meet via video call to ensure you meet our benchmark standards.
All legal documents are reviewed via Zoom, as well as asking key valued based questions to help us determine your suitability to work with children. All staff must demonstrate English competence to support pupils from Reception to A-Level and a positive attitude towards safeguarding and protecting children.

Vision’s Teaching’s dedicated Compliance Team will then oversee the remainder of your registration once a satisfactory Registration Form and Zoom are completed. The Compliance Team work in line with APSCO’s Compliance+ and KCSIE guidelines, as well as relevant statutory guidance from the DFE. They will contact references on your behalf (once permission is provided) and cross reference with information on your CV/ Registration Form to ensure all relevant references are obtained. The Compliance Team will also contact you for any information/ documents that were not provided to the Resource Team, with a reasonable explanation. Any queries the Compliance Team have regarding your supplied information will be queried for a satisfactory outcome for clearance to work. If for any reason, you do not pass our robust registration and safeguarding vetting checks, Vision Teaching hold the right to terminate the registration at any point.
Vision Teaching ID
Our ID is issued to you once you are successfully cleared for work by a Senior Member of the Compliance Team. This can take between 2 – 6 weeks to arrive in the post, due to busy periods. You should present this ID card, along with your original DBS certificate to the school upon arrival to an assignment.
