        Giving Back to the Community

Our company’s mission statement is that every child needs a champion and it’s our strong belief that all children deserve a good education, and this can be achieved if they are provided with both academic & additional support tailored to their individual’s needs.

        The Season of Goodwill

It’s the season of goodwill and there is no better time to give where it’s most needed. It’s been a tough 18 months for many, particularly as Christmas was cancelled last year.

2021 has been a turbulent year in a variety of ways for lots of different people. If there’s one thing it has taught us all, it’s how important our friends and families are and the communities we live in. Reflecting on the past year creates a great opportunity to look further and support those that are in greater need.

From 1st to the 24th of December everyone in Vision Teaching will be involved in giving back to people who need our help & support right now!

2021 has been a turbulent year in a variety of ways for lots of different people. If there’s one thing it has taught us all, it’s how important our friends and families are and the communities we live in. Reflecting on the past year creates a great opportunity to look further and support those that are in greater need.

It’s why this year we are donating food, household goods & beauty products to the The Felix Project & a variety of women’s refuges.

We will also be fundraising for various good causes including Farleigh Hospice & donating £500 to our winning Christmas card entry to help the good work schools do this Christmas.

It is as much about helping them on the academic side as it is working with an educator that inspires, engages and helps learning to come alive. We not only want our educators to help raise attainment, but we want them to give pupils a boost, a sense of achievement and improve their confidence and engagement in learning.

Vision Teaching is passionate about supporting the communities and children we work with to improve education by providing over £50,000 of laptops and devices to disadvantaged children in lockdown, providing over 6000 meals and food parcels to the Felix projects to support families across London, provide free CPD training for all educators and we are the only agency to provide subsided housing to educators in London.

Over the past 18 months we have donated over 200 hours of our time to deliver food parcels to families in need £7500 for schools resources, on top of providing mental health training in the classroom.

        Community Matters

We understand there’s a shortage of available funds in education. It’s one of the reasons that we give a helping hand and try to add value where we can.

        • In Haringey and Havering, our local authority partners, a percentage of our profits go back to pay for educational projects such as playground improvements, sports development, training and resources
        • We donate to mental health projects for children
        • Our staff have paid time off to volunteer in schools or for children's charities
        • We have funded head teachers training to help school improvement initiatives
        • We provide free of charge CPD training programmes to enhance the performance of our educators in the classrooms
        • Lots of opportunities to win resources for schools with our mega quiz’s, competition, referral schemes and £10,000 giveaway

        It’s not just about money

We want to be genuine partners in education, not just a company that provides a service. That means being present in the communities where we hope to make an impact.

As a company, we aim to be a catalyst, that’s why we run events like staff football tournaments to help you bring your team together in a novel way. We sort the logistics; the venue, the food and drink, the referees and your team even can win a prize to help your school!

For more information about our community support programs, events or to ask for assistance, please call us on 0207 430 7120 or email community@visionteaching.co.uk

I’ve been working with Vision since December and they are hands down the best education agency out there. All the consultants are so friendly and go above and beyond to help secure you the best role possible. Dan has been amazing through the lockdown and found me a fantastic position to complete my NQT year! I couldn’t be happier and I can’t recommend this agency enough!
