        Salary: £38766 - £60092 Per Annum

        Key Responsibilities:

        • Planning and Teaching:

          • Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet the diverse needs of pupils.

          • Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources, including the effective use of technology, to support learning.

          • Create a positive, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment that encourages active learning and independence.

        • Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

          • Regularly assess pupil progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring that all children are supported and challenged appropriately.

          • Maintain accurate and detailed records of pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.

          • Prepare end-of-key-stage assessments and reports in line with statutory requirements.

        • Pastoral Care and Well-Being:

          • Foster positive relationships with pupils, creating an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and supported.

          • Promote positive behaviour and attitudes in line with the school’s behaviour policy.

          • Act as a role model, demonstrating high standards of professionalism and personal conduct.

        • Collaboration and Professional Development:

          • Work closely with colleagues to share good practice and collaborate on planning and assessment.

          • Participate actively in staff meetings, INSET days, and training sessions to continually develop your professional skills.

          • Engage with parents and carers, maintaining regular communication regarding pupil progress and well-being.

        • Contribution to School Life:

          • Take part in school events, activities, and initiatives that enrich the educational experience of our pupils.

          • Be committed to the wider school ethos, contributing positively to the school community and its continued improvement.

         

        The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

        • Qualifications and Experience:

          • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of teaching in Upper Key Stage 2.

          • Experience in preparing pupils for KS2 SATs and addressing curriculum challenges in Year 5 or Year 6.

          • Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, differentiation, and assessment practices.

        • Skills and Attributes:

          • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

          • A reflective practitioner with a passion for continuous professional development.

          • Creative and resourceful, with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.

          • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

          • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
