About Us:
We are working with a successful and vibrant primary school in the Borough of Havering. The school strives to ensure that all children are provided with learning opportunities that are relevant now and in the future. From 28th January, they are looking for a Year 2 Teacher for a 6-week cover. If you would like to work as a temporary Year 2 Teacher, please read on! The successful Year 2 Teacher will receive weekly PPA time and be required to attend one weekly after school meeting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 2 Teacher
- Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
- Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
- Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent.
- Good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Prior experience as a Year 2 teacher
- UK classroom-based experience
- Excellent behaviour management
