        Are you a passionate Drama Teacher looking to make a real impact in the classroom? An Ofsted-rated ’good’ mainstream secondary school in Dagenham are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their vibrant Performing Arts department in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Drama Teacher (ECT) or an experienced Drama Teacher.

        Key responsiblities of the Drama Teacher:

        • Plan and deliever engaging Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum to students from Key Stage 3 through Key Stage 5.

        • Collaborate closely with other members of the department and wider school.

        • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and report progress.

        The successful Drama Teacher will:

        • Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).

        • Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including school productions and drama clubs.

        • Foster creativity, confidence, and a love of performance in all students.

        • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills

        • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent and have relevant experience in teaching Drama
