Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

We believe in positively affecting the lives of pupils throughout schools in London. To do this we want to provide our staff with up-to-date training to assist with the most important job of all, being an educator in schools. One of the biggest issues we hear from people working through agencies in schools is a perceived lack of training and support. We believe that just because you aren’t permanently employed doesn’t mean that you should miss out on career development or access to training.

We have partnered up with the CIPD Certification Service to provide accredited courses that can help you develop your career and document your activities. So, what is CPD? CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. It enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive.

Engaging with Vision Teaching’s CPD ensures that both your academic and practical learning are kept current, allowing you to continually ‘up-skill’ or ‘re-skill’, regardless of your occupation, age or level of education.

Our CPD programme has a range of training for support staff as well as teachers. Our overall aim is to provide training and learning that increases both your confidence and capability, as well as complement your career aspirations.

We provide free CPD for all our educators. Our head of CPD is a qualified teacher with 8 years-experience in schools and has been previously been a curriculum lead and an education consultant & a tutor trainer to ensure a positive impact on progress and attainment in numeracy and literacy and is very experienced with SEND. He is on hand to help train and support all educators.  We are also the only agency to provide our candidates with free Team Teach training.

We have a new calendar of free CPD training events and workshops available to Vision Teaching educators, along with a bank of resources to help you in the classroom.

We provide free of charge CPD courses! So whether you are looking to become Team Teach trained, develop your behaviour management skills, become a teacher or learn new skills – we are always looking for individuals that want to make a difference.

We want to reward the hard work, passion and dedication you show on a daily basis to the pupils you work with and whose lives you want to improve. That’s why in addition to free CPD and training, we also arrange regular social events and provide a support network to meet other individuals in education.
