Based in the heart of Barking and Dagenham, this school is looking for a ARP Learning Support Assistant to join their team for an ASAP start.         Key Responsibilities:

        · Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEND pupils

        · Assist in planning and implementing activities in line with EHCPs

        · Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

        · Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents

        · Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

        · Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development

         

        Requirements:

        · Qualifications: Childcare qualification or equivalent

        · Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEND

        · Knowledge: Understanding of SEND, including ASD and ADHD

        · Desirable: Experience working with children with SEND within a school setting
