Functional Skills English Teacher – East London

Full-time | January Start | Salary Dependent on Experience

Vision Teaching is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills English Teacher to join a specialist examination centre in East London. This centre supports students who are not currently in mainstream education and may have a range of needs, including ESOL, SEN, and SEMH.

As the Functional Skills English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to help learners achieve their Level 2 Functional Skills qualification. You will be part of a supportive environment focused on helping each student reach their potential.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher (QTS, QTLS or relevant teaching qualification)
• Proven experience teaching Functional Skills English (Level 2)
• Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH needs
• Experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds, including ESOL

Desirable:

• Previous experience within alternative provision or specialist settings
