Teaching and Learning is at the heart of everything this Lewisham based school does. They are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to both support teachers and pupils. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you would be joining a team of warm, engaging and supportive practitioners who make the best colleagues to work alongside.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover class, plan and teach your own lessons.
- Deployed across the school to cover classes.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience of teaching in EYFS, KS1, KS2
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Desirable: Experience teaching classes within a primary school
