        Learning Support Assistant- Year 1

        Learning Support Assistant- Wembley

        We are currently working with an excellent school in Wembley (HA9) who is looking for a Learning Support Assistant on a 1:1 basis with a child who has ASD and ADHD to start working with them as soon as possible! The school will be offering ongoing professional development and support in the workplace. 

        Ideally, you will have prior experience working with children however, if you have the right attitude, wiling to learn and can be committed to the role, then this may be for you! Compassion, understanding and patience are all qualities you will need to succeed in this position long term. 

        Requirements:

        • This is a full-time role starting ASAP until the end of July 2024
        • The child you will be working with struggles with changes in routine, so you will have to be able to manage this.
        • Prior experience working with children is an asset.
        • Be able to provide two references from the past 2 years.
        • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
        • Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
        • Safeguarding and Prevent Training – we can provide you with this.
        • Register with Vision Teaching and follow all compliance procedures.
