        Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant:

        As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

        • Building a positive and supportive rapport with the student.
        • Implementing tailored strategies to support the student's learning and social development.
        • Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
        • Providing one-on-one support and assistance during classroom activities.
        • Monitoring and reporting on the student's progress and well-being.

         

        Requirements:

        To excel in this role, you should have:

        • Previous experience supporting students with SEN.
        • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
        • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.
        • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
        • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
