About Us:

We are working with a warm, friendly and welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a 1.5 form entry school and located in a multicultural community. They are looking for a part-time PPA Teacher, for three days a week, to teach across Years 1 – 4. The school is looking for a PPA Teacher with ideally a background in Art or Music. Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a PPA Teacher
• Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
• Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent.
• Strong behaviour management
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Prior experience teaching across the year groups
• UK classroom-based experience
