 About Us:

We are working with a thriving and popular catholic primary school in Romford. The school focuses on providing an environment in which pupils are happy, challenged and secure. The school is looking for a strong and experienced Year 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils within groups and on a 1:1 basis.  Key Responsibilities:

• Work as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant
• Supporting young children with SEN
• Work with a team of adults to support all children under the guidance of the class teacher
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

 Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a KS2 class
• Have a basic understanding of behaviour management
• Experience working with children as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant
• An understanding of using visuals to support learning
