We are extremely proud to be such a highly rated agency, but what we are most proud about is that the ratings we have are from over 12 years of reviews from schools and teachers that were once in the same position as you.
We believe in doing things the right way - building relationships based on understanding and respect. This is represented by Vision being in the Top 10 education recruitment agencies in the UK, with 9/10 on Rate My Teaching Agency, 4.8/5 on Facebook and 4.2/5 on Google. We are extremely proud to be such a highly rated agency, but what we are most proud about is that the ratings we have are from over 12 years of reviews from schools and teachers that were once in the same position as you.
Vision Teaching was established in February 2007 by our owners, Daniel and Craig who set Vision up to be a different type of educational recruiter - one that was committed to excellent customer service and building long-term relationships. We are one of the last established, independent recruitment companies in London. Throughout that time we have filled over 400,000 bookings, successfully placed almost 5000 people into roles and worked with over 1,140 schools.
We solely focus on London, attracting and retaining quality teaching staff so that we can make a real difference to pupils in our partner schools. We proactively recruit for all teaching and senior leadership positions.
We intelligently match teachers to schools to provide a recruitment service that adds value, even when providing temporary cover. Here at Vision Teaching we work with hundreds of schools all over London, who rely on us to help cover their recruitment needs. Our role is to help you get experience in a range of schools, whilst developing your career and genuinely making a difference to the schools you work in.
The Vision Teaching Community
Working with Vision Teaching makes you part of a family, an active community of education professionals. You’ll be fully supported by your very own advisor, who will take you through your initial registration and ensure that our dedicated staff, who help you find what you’re looking for. Your advisor will also follow your entire journey with Vision Teaching and will also help you get involved with:
We truly believe in making a difference to the lives of our teachers and that starts with investing in the next generation of leaders. Every year we run an NQT programme, to help you find your ideal role. We’re always looking for NQTs who’ll add value and make a difference in education, who will benefit our partner schools.
In response to alarming figures that highlight a national shortfall of 30,000 teachers and with 45% of NQTs thinking of quitting the sector, we decided to take a solution-led approach with partnerships to innovate school recruitment campaigns and ensure we support the next generation of educational leaders.
We co-ordinate UK university recruitment to find the best NQTs and graduates from all over the UK and provide you with help, support, advice, tips and most importantly career development. We take the time to get to know you, what you are looking for, the type of school you would like to work in and your ideal location. From interview tips to behaviour management training and social events, we’ll provide the support you need throughout your first year in teaching. By running an NQT programme, we can continue to further support NQTs to find the right school and get your career off to a flying start!
Support given to NQTs to ensure successful outcome of statutory induction:
The Vision Teaching NQT academy
We have a six-month programme of training and experience for every NQT that works to support you through induction. We provide access to free CPD training to further develop you as teachers and prepare you for your induction year.
Our free CPD training package includes:
As an experienced teacher you may have chosen to register with an agency for many reasons. We have been working with experienced teachers for almost 13 years and to provide a better work / life balance than being on a permanent basis with a school.
As a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) teacher you’ll work with children and young people who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of learning, in order to reach their full educational potential.
You may work with individuals who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties.
A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
We believe in positively affecting the lives of pupils throughout schools in London. To do this we want to provide our staff with up-to-date training to assist with the most important job of all, being an educator in schools. One of the biggest issues we hear from people working through agencies in schools is a perceived lack of training and support. We believe that just because you aren’t permanently employed doesn’t mean that you should miss out on career development or access to training.
We have partnered up with the CPD Certification Service to provide accredited courses that can help you develop your career and document your activities. So, what is CPD? CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. It enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive.
Engaging with Vision Teaching’s CPD ensures that both your academic and practical learning are kept current, allowing you to continually ‘up-skill’ or ‘re-skill’, regardless of your occupation, age or level of education.
Our CPD programme has a range of training for support staff as well as teachers. Our overall aim is to provide training and learning that increases both your confidence and capability, as well as complement your career aspirations.

We regularly hold training events, so if you want to get involved in our CPD programme or if you are interested in booking your place today by contacting Marianne on 0207 430 7120 or contact careers@visionteaching.co.uk
We are very proud to be exclusive recruitment partners to two boroughs in London. As part of our commitment to assist with the effective recruitment of staff to raise attainment in schools, we have also pledged to help schools with their senior leadership recruitment. We want to help bridge the gap in all areas to focus on what really matters the pupils.
Moving from classroom teaching to leadership positions can allow you to take charge and ensure continuous improvements for the greater good, more than just the pupils in your own classes, but year groups, different subjects. Plus, you will also have the opportunity to be led and guide other members of the staff. We have recently sponsored NAHT training to help add values to schools across London.
